Tell us automatically how you use UnPlug

We'd like to collect information on the sites you use UnPlug on. This tells us what sites are used the most, so we can test changes and fix problems more quickly on those sites.

Opt-in: how to turn it on

By default, we do not collect this information. To allow us to collect it: run UnPlug on any website, and click the "Configure" button on the UnPlug dialog. Tick the "Submit information on what websites UnPlug is used on" box, and click ok.

What we collect and how we use it

For every site you visit, we collect:

• The full url of the site you visit
• The date you visited.
• The user agent string, which contains the version of firefox and the operating system version.
• The version of UnPlug you're using (including revision number).

The information will be used to improve and test unplug. We may also publish anonymized/generalized information: for example, we may publish the popularity of different sites by hostname, but not revealling individual urls submitted.
